Meet the Owner of Our Consumer and Probate Law Firm

A Mercer-educated lawyer, Mr. Robert Divis is the head of Divis Law LLC. He is admitted to the State Bar of Georgia, Supreme Court of the State of Georgia, the Georgia Court of Appeals, and the US District Courts for the Middle, Northern and Southern Districts of Georgia, United States Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit, and Court of Appeals for Veteran Claims. Mr. Divis is also accredited to practice administrative law before the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Previous Career

Before he was a Lawyer, Mr. Divis was an infantry officer in the United States Army and served in the storied 82nd Airborne Division in troop leadership roles. The mission of the 82nd Airborne Division is to strategically deploy, conduct forcible entry parachute assault, and secure key objectives for follow-on military operations anytime, anywhere, against any opponent, within 18 hours of notification. While recovering from injuries he sustained as a soldier, he realized the importance of having individual resilience and determination and getting the right expert help at the right time.
